They work closely with the broader medical team, coordinating care to guarantee the patient's safety and well-being throughout the procedure. Their expertise is essential in managing both the technical aspects of dialysis and the patient's health, allowing for effective treatment and preventing potential risks.
Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of a Bachelor's/College Degree in Nursing Candidate must be a Licensed Nurse Candidate must have an updated BLS, ACLS, Certificate of Dialysis training Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Ability to handle confidential information and maintain patient privacy. RE-USE TECHNICIAN
JOB SUMMARY:
The Reuse Technician in the Hemodialysis Department is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective reuse of dialysis equipment, specifically dialyzers, in accordance with clinic protocols and industry standards. This role involves cleaning, disinfecting, testing, and preparing dialysis equipment for reuse, ensuring that all procedures are compliant with regulatory guidelines and quality standards. The technician plays a vital role in ensuring patient safety while promoting cost-effective practices within the clinic.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or related field preferred). Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in hemodialysis, is highly advantageous. Knowledge of dialysis procedures, equipment, and infection control practices.
Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of dialysis reprocessing equipment. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
